Creating “magic” for Logitech’s new Cloud Gaming device

Recently our Logitech client tasked Encore with creating a “magical” experience for the launch of its new Cloud Gaming Handheld device, which was “code” for creating a highly visual, Instagram-worthy activation.

As with many briefs, our client not only wanted consumers to try their new product, but they wanted them to do so within a stunningly visual environment that beckoned to be shared on social.

Most important of all, they needed the experience to travel to as many Best Buy stores as possible in support of the Cloud Gaming launch.

No problem. Our creative team crushed it with a bold design that packed several Insta-worthy vignettes into a small event trailer that had just come off the road for another client

A giant red-lip sofa, Chinese-themed lanterns, a ball-filled bathtub and outlandish outdoor chairs gave gamers a variety of places to sit and play, all the while sharing their experience for their friends to see.

We know our clients are happy when they find additional money to extend our events to new places beyond the original scope, which is exactly what happened in this case with Logitech. After completing our tour of Best Buy stores we were tasked with bringing the experience to college football games and gaming conferences, something we were eager to do!

Following the Best Buy tour our Logitech client asked us to bring the experience to large-scale events, including college football games (for example, Texas A&M, above) and gaming conventions such as PAX East.
